Class meeting times vary from week to week:

     ***from 10:30 am - 1 pm (for serger-only machines)

     ***from 10:30 am - 4 pm (for serger/coverstitch combo machines)

October 21, 2026 from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

COURSE SCHEDULE

• Class 1: Understanding Your Serger 
Master the essentials: learn operation, threading, basic stitches, and how to use different feet.

• Class 2: Building Confidence
 Go beyond the basics. Practice diverse stitch applications until handling your machine feels like second nature.

• Class 3: Advanced Techniques
 Take your skills to the next level by mastering the professional cover-stitch technique.

• Class 4: The Grand Finale
 Put it all together! Create a unique zippy bag that showcases some techniques you’ve learned.

These classes are suitable for Baby Lock Air thread serger machines.

In an effort to keep classes affordable, we ask that you purchase all supplies and materials from Marietta's Quilt & Sew.  Before purchasing materials, check to make sure that the class minimum of 3 students has been met. Students are eligible for a 10% discount on supplies purchased for class; online customers should make a note at checkout listing name of class and which items apply to have the discount applied manually.

Extra needles--check your manual for the right kind

Pencil, highlighter, or sticky notes

Notebook

Lunch or a snack to eat during class
