ASG Upstate: UFO Open Sew

Join the American Sewing Guild Upstate SC Chapter (ASG) for a fun UFO (Unfinished Object) sewing event! Bring your in-progress projects and enjoy working alongside a group of fellow makers. Whether you’re finishing quilts, shirts, home décor, or something else, it’s a great chance to sew, socialize, and get inspired. No ASG membership is required and everyone is welcome!

Posh Penelope (session 2 of 2)

Classes

Marietta's is a great place to learn to sew and to expand your skills!  We offer classes for all ages and abilities.  Click here to suggest a new class or to join our waiting list!

  • "Beginner" classes are for individuals who do not have much sewing experience.  Those who have just completed Adult Basic Sewing fall into this category. They are still getting used to their sewing machines, and these classes are planned to support students as they learn their way around.
  • "Confident beginners" have completed a few projects successfully, but they may still need occasional help with their sewing machines during the class.
  • "Intermediate" students can handle their machines independently.  These classes will focus on a project or technique to develop skills not covered in beginner classes.
  • "Advanced" classes offer challenges in project size, detail level, organization, and technique.
