Monday Night Open Sew

Monday night Open Sew meets the first Monday of each month, 2 - 8 pm.

Tired of sewing alone?  Bring a project and join us for Monday Night Open Sew!  Make new friends and have fun while you chip away at your to-do list. Best of all, it's free!  No signup needed, just park behind the shop.

Quilts of Valor

Join the QOV local chapter on the first Saturday of every month as they make quilts for veterans! A Quilt of Valor is our award to those who have been touched by war. It says, "thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor in serving our nation."  Details here.

Classes

Marietta's is a great place to learn to sew and to expand your skills!  We offer classes for all ages and abilities.

  • "Beginner" classes are for individuals who do not have much sewing experience.  Those who have just completed Adult Basic Sewing fall into this category. They are still getting used to their sewing machines, and these classes are planned to support students as they learn their way around.
  • "Confident beginners" have completed a few projects successfully, but they may still need occasional help with their sewing machines during the class.
  • "Intermediate" students can handle their machines independently.  These classes will focus on a project or technique to develop skills not covered in beginner classes.
  • "Advanced" classes offer challenges in project size, detail level, organization, and technique.

  • American Sewing Guild of Upstate SC: UFO Open Sew

    Join American Sewing Guild Upstate SC Chapter (ASG) for their UFO (Unfinished Object) group sewing event on the last Monday of every month from 10:30am-2pm. You can finish your quilts, shirts, home décor, etc. Come sew, socialize, and get inspired. No ASG membership is required and everyone is welcome!

  • "First Monday" Open Sew

    Join us the first Monday of each month from 2-8 pm to sew with friends in our classroom!
