Class: Mesh Beach Bag

Class meets November 3, 2026 from 10:30am-1:30pm. 

Join Laurie to learn how to make her Mesh Beach Bag! This kit was a hit during All Carolina Shop Hop and is now available as a 1 session class. You'll learn how to work with acrylic mesh that makes up the body of the bag as well as how to customize the bag by adding pockets and extra clasps for keys. This class is great for confident beginners! 

In an effort to keep classes affordable, we ask that you purchase all supplies and materials from Marietta's Quilt & Sew.  Before purchasing materials, check to make sure that the class minimum of 3 students has been met. Students are eligible for a 10% discount on supplies purchased for class; online customers should make a note at checkout listing name of class and which items apply to have the discount applied manually.

By signing up for a class, you agree to in-class photography, which we use on our social media to promote the MQS class experience to others.

●   Sewing machine
●   Zig zag foot
●   Thread for piecing and top stitching
●   Scissors
●   Basic notions
