Class Poppins Bag ** Oct**

In an effort to keep classes affordable, we are requesting that you purchase all supplies and materials from Marietta’s Quilt & Sew. 

Large zipper top bag great for all of your magical stuff! Optional pockets to keep everything organized. Pattern includes 2 stainless steel stays.

Finished size is 18" wide x 12" deep x 14" tall


Supplies:

Poppins Bag and Frame (Poppins Bag Pattern)
 
Fabric requirements found on pattern (We recommend you bring a little more fabric than the pattern calls for, especially if you are using directional fabric.)  
Sewing machine Double Sided Basting Tape a must-have for this bag.
Chaco Liner Pen Style great marking pen
Basic sewing supplies,Wonder-Clips-50ct-Red, BOHIN-QUILTERS-PLASTIC-HEAD-PINS, marking pen that marks on your fabric, ruler, scissors, etc.



Homework:

Cut out and label all fabric and interfacing EXCEPT - do not cut the binding for the top, bottom and the sides of the bag. Marietta will explain this step in the class.

Prepare the front and back panels of the bag including quilting, if desired, and have them ready to finish when you get to class. If you wish to have pockets, please prepare them prior to class.  Attaching the pockets will be the first step we complete in class. Having these steps complete in advance of the class will ensure you are able to finish your bag during the class.
