Class Little Poppins Bag Class **Sept**
In an effort to keep classes affordable, we are requesting that you purchase all supplies and materials from Marietta’s Quilt & Sew. We do ask however that you check with us prior to purchasing to ensure the class has made.
Large zipper topped bag for all of your magical stuff. Pockets on the inside. Pattern includes 2 stainless steel stays
We will be making the Large size bag in class
Finished size is 13" wide X 12" deep x 9" tall
Supplies:
Poppins Bag and Frame (Little-Poppins-Bag- Pattern)
Fabric requirements found on pattern
Sewing machine
Double Sided Basting Tape a must have for this bag.
Chaco Liner Pen Style great marking pen
Basic sewing supplies,Wonder-Clips-50ct-Red, BOHIN-QUILTERS-PLASTIC-HEAD-PINS, marking pen that marks on your fabric, ruler, scissors, etc.
Please buy 1/4 yards of fabric for outside, lining, and accent fabrics. Patters says less but we have been running out in the past classes.
Homework:
Cut out everything for this bag and LABEL! DO NOT CUT the binding for the top, bottom and the sides of the bag. I will explain in class
Cut foam and fabric for the front and the lining.
Do step1 and 2 which is the front and back of the bag by quilting them and have them ready to finish the front and back when you get to class. If you want pockets now is the time to get them ready to put on after you sew the front and back. This will be the first thing we need to put on in class. Have this ready because if not you will not finish in class. This is my objective to have it finished during class.
