8 Thread Serger Bag
Perfect class for sergists that have an 8 thread Babylock serger (Triumph, Ovation, Accolade, Evolution). Learn how to embellish with a cover stitch, install a zipper and provide a professional finish all by using your 8 thread serger.
Pattern includes directions for three sizes. You will be making the Large size in class. Kits are available at MQS.
Homework - Starch all fabric. Cut all strips of fabric and bosal foam according to pattern for Large bag. Bring all remaining fabric to class to test stitches.

Zippy Strippy Pattern available at MQS
Fabric per pattern for large bag (starch and cut strips and lining before class)
Bosal foam instead of batting. You will need 1/3 yard (enough to make two bags)
Polyester zipper only (14” or longer)
8 thread serger (Triumph, Ovation, Accolade, Evolution) including foot pedal and power cord
4 cones of coordinating serger thread
1 spool of 30 wt. thread that matches the serger thread
