Class Beginners Rope Bowl **July**
In order to keep class cost down we ask that you purchase your supplies from Marietta's Quilt and Sew. We offer a 10% discount of all class supplies.
What you will learn in Class:
What kind of rope to use
Choosing and cutting fabric
How to start a bowl
Adding fabric
Finishing off your bowl
What to bring to Class:
Sewing machine with foot pedal and power cord (must be able to handle a soft rope.
Instructor and the shop cannot be responsible to any damage to machine due to the inability to handle the rope.
You will need one fat quarter of fabric **Batiks preferred**
2 denim needles, cream colored thread and 2 bobbins of matching thread
Scissors with small tip
Non fabric scissors
Frixion iron off felt tip pen in a dark color
Opened toed foot (must be able to do zigzag)
Tape measure
Standard size clips
Instructor will provide rope, glue sticks and cardboard:
Skill level is intermediate. You must have knowledge of your machine and be able to set up and adjust the width and length of your zigzag.
