Class Kids Intermediate Sewing Camp ** June 13th, 14th and 15th** *Week 2
In an effort to keep classes affordable, we are requesting that you purchase all supplies and materials from MQS. We do ask however that you check with us prior to purchasing to ensure the class has made.
10% off on all class supplies.
Skills that will be focused on are:
- Using interfacing
- Cutting out the pattern by yourself (pattern provided for you)
- Sewing in a circle
- Adding topstitching/decorative stitching
- Putting together projects with multiple pieces
- Hand sewing buttons
- Installing a zipper
You need to bring your basic sewing supplies, which should include the following:
Small sharp pointed scissors
Quality fabric scissors (7" blade minimum)
Clips (small)
Straight pins
Point turner tool
Seam Ripper
Hand sewing needles
Marking pen (recommend Frixion or Clover chalk marker)
Marietta's Quilt & Sew will provided machines for your child to sew on during class.
