Learn the basics of sewing. Marietta's is supplying the sewing machines--you just need to bring your materials and basic sewing supplies. You will make a pillowcase, a 20-Minute Table Runner and a Zippy Strippy Bag. You will learn how to make a buttonhole, attach a button and install a zipper. Classes
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE BEGINNERS LEVEL 1 ROPE BOWL CLASS. This class will build on the first one with instructions how to add a fabric liner to the inside bottom of the bowl and add two, evenly-spaced, beaded handles to the top. Come learn some new tricks for making decorative bowls!

This is a great bag for learning tote construction. It will introduce you to our favorite tote materials and basic assembly skills. Approx. 13" x 19" x 4"

Although this handy bag was originally designed as an "Iron Carrier," it's a handy size for all sorts of things--even a handbag! We'll be making the small size in class. Although the basic shell is similar to that of a Clam Up Bag, there are a few extra techniques that come into play during assembly, such as handling mesh and fold-over elastic to make a see-through pocket.
