What to learn how to improve your embroidering skills. This monthly class will help. Each month you will make a project that will focus on a different embroidery technique. The class is open to Babylock and Brother machines. Other brands are welcome as well.

Mystery Quilt...What is it? This six-week quilt class will allow you to create a quilt, without knowing how the final project will look until the very last day!! Each week a different quilt block will be taught, and in the end, you will see your quilt come together. You pick the fabrics, but the design is a complete mystery. Come join the fun for a “Who done it?” quilt.

This is a a very supportive group of like minded people. This group is made up of quilters who come together each Monday to work on their own projects. The group serves as a resource for each other. Marilyn is the leader of the group and she brings a wealth of quilting knowledge. The group meets every Monday from 1-3pm for you day-timers and again from 6-8pm for the after work crowd. The only requirement is that you have completed the basic quilting class at Marietta's Quilt & Sew

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover all combat service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

American Sewing Guild, ASG is designed to educate about sewing and helping our community. Come and join us in this guild. You will get to meet lots of special people who enjoy sewing like yourself. We meet the second Thursday of the month. 10am to 12pm

Class/Workshop Etiquette
  • Class attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the class/workshop to set up their machines, etc., and should come prepared with the necessary supplies for the class/workshop.
  • PLEASE DO NOT WEAR PERFUME OR SCENTED PRODUCTS to class due to allergies of others.
  • Cell phones should be silenced or set on vibrate; if you need to use your cell phone, please leave the classroom to do so.
  • Classes, workshops and events are designed for those registered only. We ask that you refrain from bringing children or non-registered guests to classes, workshops and events.
Supplies
  • A class supply list will be provided to you at the time of class enrollment.
  • All class attendees are asked to gather supplies prior to class to ensure all participants have the full benefit of class time.
  • Please make sure to mark all your items. Marietta's Quilt & Sew is not responsible for anything left behind after the class/workshop
  • Due to copyright laws all class attendees must have their own copy of the required book/pattern/magazine/handout for the class/workshop; these will be listed on the supply list. Absolutely no photocopies allowed in class and no sharing of patterns or books.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to attend a class for any reason, please notify us within 3 working days to transfer you class fee to another class or we will gladly issue a store credit. We cannot transfer class credits more than one time. This will enable us to contact someone that may be on a waiting list for this class. We are sorry, but cancellations made after the 3 working day policy will not be eligible for store credit or transfer.  Refunds will not be given unless the class is canceled; in this case you will be notified at the number you gave us when you signed up. No-shows will not be eligible for re-scheduling or store credit.

If your class is several hours long, you may want to bring a snack and a drink to get you through. We have a refrigerator & microwave if you need. In addition, as you may know, many people suffer from allergies and when in an enclosed room, these allergies tend to flare up. We ask that you please refrain from wearing perfume or any strongly scented products.
